Jasmine Ware is originally from Gadsden, South Carolina; growing up a child of the military, she's come to call the world her playground, and Oklahoma her home.
Ware’s artistic interests aren’t limited to one mode of creativity, and are open to a wide range of genres, which she incorporates into much of her work. She graduated Cum Laude from Newman University in Wichita, KS in 2012, where she obtained her BA with an emphasis in Painting & Photography. Ware completed her MFA in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016.
Ware uses a variety of media in her painting practice, such as rhinestones, the pouring of brightly colored paints and other mediums. Working in the space between representational, and abstract ideas, much of her work bears a direct correlation to personal experiences. She currently resides in Oklahoma City.
